CV Tailor
Paste a CV, drop in a job posting, download an ATS optimised document tailored to that specific role without a single invented fact.
What it is
Your CV in, a job link or description in, a formatted .docx out, rewritten around that role's actual language while keeping your layout intact.
Why I built it
I was applying to roles and rewriting the same document by hand every time, which is both tedious and the single highest leverage thirty minutes in any application. It started as a private tool for exactly one CV, then got generalised because the problem is not personal.
How it works
The hard rule is that every fact stays true. The model can mirror the posting's keywords, re-angle the summary, and relabel a skill in the vocabulary the company uses, but it cannot add a job, a number, or a tool you never touched. Applicant tracking systems reward keyword overlap, so the win comes from vocabulary alignment rather than embellishment, which is convenient because embellishment is also how you get caught in the interview.
Output goes through a real document template rather than generated markup, so what downloads looks like a document a person made.
Where it stands
Working web version. Still the tool I use for my own applications.
