About
Jorge Saracco
Operator in fintech and crypto, builder of small products, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. English and Spanish, both native.
I spend my days as an operator in fintech and crypto: institutional onboarding at Binance US, COO of a small fund, now investment analysis at Riverstone. I spend my nights shipping software. Same instinct in both, which is finding the part of a process that is broken and rebuilding it until it works.
The through line across five years is the same task in different clothes: someone has a process that half works, and I take it apart and rebuild it so it scales. At Binance US that was the institutional onboarding pipeline. At Rabadon it was an entire fund back office. At Riverstone it is the analysis clients make decisions on.
Somewhere in there I stopped waiting for engineering to build the tool I needed and started building it myself. That is what the projects page is. Not a portfolio of client work, a record of things I wanted to exist.
Where I have worked
Head of Investment Analysis
Riverstone.one2024 to nowPrimary point of contact for 8+ accounts, from first discovery call through delivery. Turn tokenomics, reserve structures, and counterparty exposure into findings founders and their investors actually use.
Chief Operating Officer
Rabadon2022 to 2024Built the operating system of a crypto fund from nothing: workflows, reporting, LP onboarding, quarterly reviews. Four people serving institutional clients without dropping anything.
Analyst, Institutional Operations
Binance US2021 to 2022Rebuilt the institutional onboarding pipeline from scratch during a high volume scaling period. Banks, hedge funds, family offices, and corporate treasuries getting live faster.
Before that: B.Sc. Industrial Engineering, UADE, Buenos Aires.
How I work
Ship the ugly version first
Every project here went from idea to something I could use within a few days. The ones that survived earned the polish afterwards. The ones that did not, I stopped.
Build for a real problem I have
I am the first user of almost everything on this site. It is a slow way to find a market and a fast way to avoid building something nobody wanted.
Operations is a product
An onboarding pipeline and a signup flow are the same object seen from different sides. Most of what I learned rebuilding processes at an exchange applies directly to software.
What I am interested in
The gap between a product and the customer using it, which is where most of the value quietly leaks out. Payments and fintech infrastructure, especially in emerging markets. Small teams that have to do a lot with very few people. If you are working on something in that shape, I would like to hear about it.
